We are two guys from Czech republic, who are really passionate about hockey. We love ice hockey since kids.

 

Both played youth leagues and adored same superstars like Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Dominik Hasek and Wayne Gretzky. Neither of us ever made it between top players so when time came, school and work got the preference.

 

When we returned to hockey years later, we were so stoked to buy new gear, because it smells so nice, and nothing can compare to that smell.

 

"I remember us sitting in the locker room before first play, stucking our faces into brand new gloves and sniffing that unmistakable fragrance. Then we realized that sport we loved so much as kids was that brought us together as grown-ups."

 

Hockey gear need some sort of bag to be carried in, obviously. For us it was not as easy as it sounds. Because we lived in small apartments, in block of flats without elevators, the huge and heavy hockey bags we carried didn't fit through doors and wheels were useless on stairs. They also defined the mode of transportation and made for us impossible to take public transportation or bike and travel to sports straight from work. We looked hard to solve this problem, but no bag suited our needs.

 

Then came the idea of designing our own bag so that we could travel freely and transport to hockey was no longer an ordeal, but a joy. Beginning of the hockey season in 2019 was the time we made our first prototype – called „coffin“. It was a long narrow cartonboard box glued together with some rubber shoulder straps attached. It approved that hockey gear can be carried on our backs. Then it took just about 15 other prototypes and 3 years to find the ultimate hockey backpack – The Great One.

 

We value durability, flexibility, health and style. That is why we insisted on perfect local craftmanship, the immortal CORDURA material and YKK zips and plastic components, as well as comfortable carry, possibility to pack it into small tube and last but not least to have eyecatching design.
